If you frequently get roosted during rides, we recommend adding our Roost Protector. This wire mesh guard installs above the scavenge fan to help block large pebbles and debris from damaging the fan blades.

Important: Using the Roost Protector requires a pre-ride inspection before each trip. Debris buildup on the mesh can restrict airflow (CFM) and reduce the Particle Separator’s efficiency.

One of the best features of the Particle Separator is its maintenance-free operation. If you're not riding in heavy roost conditions, we recommend skipping the Roost Protector. Instead, keep a spare Scavenge Fan on hand in case the original becomes damaged.
