Critical: Scavenge Fan Operation and Air Filtration

Important: When the scavenge fan on your S&B Particle Separator is not running, air filtration efficiency drops to 0%. Without the fan, the separator cannot eject dust and debris from the intake stream — allowing unfiltered air to reach your air filter and engine.

Before each ride, verify the fan is powered on and audibly operating. The fan should continue to run for approximately 15–20 seconds after shutting off your UTV — this is normal system behavior and confirms proper function.

If the fan fails to activate or airflow appears weak, stop operation and contact S&B Technical Support for assistance.
