Fitment Alert: 75-5170 & 75-5196

Issue:
Cold Air Intake kits CAI-75-5170 and CAI-75-5196 are designed exclusively for Wide Body Hellcat models. These kits are not compatible with Standard (Narrow Body) Hellcats.

  • The intake tube is too large and will contact the power steering reservoir.
  • The airbox will not seat properly.
  • There will be hood interference issues during installation.

Resolution:
Customers with Standard Model Hellcats should order CAI-HC-15, which is fully compatible with all Narrow Body models through 2023.

Update:
At this time, there are no plans to produce a new tube specifically for Narrow Body fitment. However, the tube designed for aftermarket 108mm throttle bodies will fit Narrow Body Hellcats equipped with those throttle bodies.
